Policy: BCC response – Post Implementation Review of s.52 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 Call for input – August 2021

The 2016 amendments to Section 52 meant that all artistic works, including those that have been industrially manufactured, receive the full term of copyright protection (i.e. life of the creator plus 70 years). This call for views forms part of the five-year post-implementation review of this Regulation to assess its effectiveness.
