Catherine Pocock, Legal and Public Affairs Intern joins the Working Group to represent BCC Member, BASCA. Catherine’s contribution will increase the representation of creators and performers in the Group.

Also Joining the Working Group as alternates for BCC Member, BAPLA, and for the visual arts, are Jonathan Lockwood, Vice President and Corporate Counsel, Getty Images and Ania Skurczynska, Corporate Counsel, EMEA at Corbis.

Dr. Gaetano Dimita, Lecturer in International IP Law and member of the Centre for Commercial Law Studies at Queen Mary IP Research Institute, has joined the BCC’s main forum for policy development, as an individual observer member. The Working Group invited Dr. Dimita to join for his expertise in copyright and digital and online technologies.

Andrew Yeates, Chairman of the Working Group said:- “It is rare that the Working Group invites individuals to join, but increasing academic and technical input for the work of the BCC is an important strategic objective. Gaetano brings both to the table and we look forward to involving him in our debates.

Susie Winter, who joined the Publishers Association as its Director of Policy and Communications in 2014, has also agreed to join the Group. Hugh Jones, Copyright Counsel of the Publishers Association has been a member of the Group for many years but Susie brings expertise in communications and public affairs to the Group.
