Information: Copies or replicas of cars

Fakes, copies or replica cars produced in other countries and imported into the UK are probably not protected by copyright in the UK. However, it is very likely that other forms of protection e.g. Trade Marks and design rights would apply thus making it unsafe to import unauthorised copies of the car into the UK (see Information Sheet 16 on Product Design).
